A straight seam at the hips slims the front view. We shifted the side seams forward just a little to create a straighter line at the sides, it narrows the shape. We put the curves at the back. We angle the pockets to create an angled shape at the butt. It’s an architecture of denim. Carefully positioned pockets create "the good butt".
